It was a day of anticipation and celebration that held an air of reverence?
Pastor Tim Zuniga began with a message from Acts. 7:33 - which speaks of God instructing Moses, a leader of Israel, to remove his shoes because he was standing on the holy ground of Mt. Sinai.
With that word, the GPC congregation then made its way to our newly-acquired land, fondly known as 'The Mountain.'
On our 'Mt.' at 733 Old Dickerson Road, members formed a circle around the perimeter of the church?s future location; with every shoe removed, they anointed God's holy ground in Goodlettsville with oil.
Praise and rejoicing could be heard nearby as GPC then 'broke ground' on what will be a 1,000-seat facility nestled in the midst of nearly 50 acres.
GPC and Goodlettsville will never be the same as God brings us to the next phase of seeing a great new church built for His glory.
